MORNING VESSEL
Morning Vessel is a daily morning creating/receiving space (on zoom) for artists*/writers/creatrixes, open for your participation all morning, 7 days a week, that you can dip in and out of, be there some days but not all days, in any variation, as able, cameras off, mics off, working in simultaneity and silent solidarity.
Every Sunday, at 10am Central we will host an optional check-in circle, and open the space up for people to shed light on what is alive for them and share what they've been working on or thinking about or encountering, their intentions for the week ahead, or anything about their creative/receptive unfolding.
In the sense that art is life, and we are moving beyond category into magic, the vessel can be an energetic sanctum for creating/receiving whatever feels vital for you.
WHEN: this is active and ongoing, every morning, wherever you are. Live check-in circle at 10am CST on Sundays.

LONGEST NIGHT/SEA VESSEL
IN WHICH we come together in the darkest days ahead of us to tend to--in a searching in the dark kind of way--that which is dormant in you or newly nascent or that which has been derailed by 2020, whether a process, a practice, or a project. We will meet on Sunday evenings, after sunset, across seven weeks, beginning with the eve of the Winter Solstice and extending throughout January. Given the circumstances, "gather" is virtual in concept, both with its limitations, as well as its possibilities to make more expanded constellations. Details:
Sundays, 5pm - 7pm, CST
December 20, 2020 - January 31, 2021
Limit: 13 ppl
Donation-based
Each week, we will come together around a shared, short-form text evocative of under/other/in-between worlds, then write together, then engage across the weeks with each other's "tendings"--that which brings us together--in a series of Askings (a Quaker-informed process per Jesse Ball for illuminating possibility) and dynamic response processes. The idea (often overlooked in workshops) is that the exploration and germination of one idea inspires and informs the whole, that in our radicle/radical longing, we are vivified by kindred attention and that attention is vivified by us--i.e. inspiration is the in-between, a relational wayfinding in the dark.
